Case Study: Pharmaron Grinnell Replacement

Project
Pharmaron, a premier life science service provider, requested scheduled maintenance from our team to replace several Ginnell fittings that were nearing the end of their operational life.
The Solution

Due to the extensive amount of pipework within the facility, the building required a full site survey to determine the scope of work.

The size, number, and location of all the ginnel fittings were evaluated, with the mechanical team fabricating the new pipework ready for fitting.

To support Pharmaron with their future maintenance work, a report of parts which may need future work was provided.

This proactive approach enables the facility to prevent any leaks from occurring before they arise and to stay ahead of their planned maintenance work

The Benefits
  • The off-site fabricated parts enabled the job to be completed in record time, with the exact parts and specifications required.

  • As the job was part of a planned maintenance schedule, any faulty parts could successfully be replaced in a controlled manner without disruption to the facility.
