Here at B-engineering Group we’re passionate about our environmental and social responsibility which has led to us developing a ‘business for good’ strategy. Through our core operations we recognise that every company and every employee has an important role to play. For us, giving back needs to be at the forefront of our minds in everything that we do.
We have based our impacts for good beliefs around the United Nations’ 17 sustainable development goals. We believe that for every operation we undertake as a business, we must be creating a positive impact that will help towards at least one of these goals. We have set a goal to be a B-Corp company by 2025 and we have made commitments to our staff, to the environment, to our clients, and to ourselves to make a positive impact on the world.
Our Commitments:
Be carbon neutral by 2025
Make a positive impact to the UN sustainable development goals (learn about the UN SDG’s here: https://sdgs.un.org/goals)
Give an impact via B1G1 to a project around the world every time we receive a PO and when we send an invoice out to a client. (Learn about B1G1 here: https://b1g1.com/)

Local Charity Support:
Every year we look to raise as much money as we can for local and national charities that are close to our employees’ and our clients’ hearts. We’re passionate about making a small impact on our chosen charities and we give up our time, donate, and undertake fundraising events to support them as much as possible. Some of our recent charitable events include:
National 3 peaks challenge (7 of our team completed in 22 hours) raising money for a local person who lost a leg in a car accident and the Once Upon a Smile charity
Annually collecting Christmas trees for local St Rocco’s Hospice giving over 500 hours of time over the past six years. We have collected over 3000 trees
Annually sponsoring local youth football and rugby teams
2021: 12 days of Christmas charity donations providing over £2000 to local charities that are close to our hearts
2020: Christmas donations of £500 to two local children’s charities
